F3D World Championships Bundaberg 2011

We are looking for 41 helpers / officials to help run the 2011 World Champs in Bundaberg.

There have been many verbal offers of help, but very little confirmed in writing. We really do need people to fill out the form and return it to Joe Luxford so that we can make definite plans.

Official practice for both the racing teams and the officials is on Wednesday 10th August 2011 with racing from Thursday 11th August through till Sunday 14th August 2011.

While we would prefer officials to be present for all five days, at the end of the day, we will accept whatever help we can get - hence provision on the form for people to indicate what days they can help on. There is also provision on the form for people to indicate what roles they are interested in. While we will endeavour to place people in their preferred roles, the officials roles can't be finalised until the Australian team is settled, which may not be until after the Dalby Nats at years end.

Yeh bloodly oth I'll help!!I probley won't be able to help everyday(because of work) but I'll help out where I can.

Great to see the W/c is getting under way
All i can say is to pylon people in australia do not miss out on seeing w/c in our country.
I will be taking my holidays then and this will make me see all 4 world champs that Aus has had.
Steveo didn,t miss one secord put in for time off now.

I,v just find out i what be able to
make my forth Wc here in Aussie. Due
to my familys health. Crying or Very sad

Any way i was hoping that some of you that may be at the WC
could place your reports and chats here so all of Auspylon racing fans
can read all about each day.
I hope some can do this for Australia. Very Happy

Not long now, getting more and more excited! and ive been off school sick , its just taking too long too come along!

I must confess to being a bit peeved. I booked my flights based on the original program ie Sunday was a rain day (racing thurs/fri/sat) and as such have to leave at 11 on Sunday morning (to make it back to Brisbane for the flight home). I now find that they have scheduled the last 2 rounds for Sunday morning so I won't see the last & possibly most important round. Pretty poor after travelling around 2800 klm to come and watch (flight from Newcastle to Brisbane & then a 4 hour drive to Bundaberg). Schedule wasn't changed until the 28th of last month... booked my flights/accommodation and annual leave from work a long time before that.

Having said that.. looks like it's going to be a great event. Today's practice & opening ceremony was good to watch..
